Carey Shaemun Webster, known as a pastor, apostolic pioneer, innovator, intercessor, holistic leader andmentor, has already made an enormous impact in his generation and has gained the support, respect and attention of seasoned ministers, businessmen and women across the Southeastern region and abroad.

 

Webster is a proud graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, 2010. Post-graduation, Webster spent three consecutive years in the classroom, inspiring and teaching students in the Leeds City Schools System.

 

Webster is the founder and senior pastor of The Tower of Prayer Church, Leeds, AL (est. 2007). Starting with only 12 faithful, innovative members, the congregation has now grown to over 300 and is constantly experiencing rapid growth; the church has been recently named as the fastest growing church in Leeds. Webster’s innovative approach to maximizing church leadership and business management has exposed Webster’s gifts across the nation.

 

The Tower of Prayer Church is known for its holistic approach to the church and surrounding area. The Tower of Prayer Church’s motto is – The Place Where God Is Transforming Lives. Since 2010, The Tower of Prayer Church started a revolution through serving called, Servolution; through the efforts of Servolution, over a thousand individuals have been served with free clothes drives, haircuts, groceries, toiletries, medical attention and toys for children during the Christmas season. The church is not only known for impacting the metro area through serving but also for providing practical, innovative services, mentoring programs and teachings for all generations. Webster strongly believes in creating change in our world, by serving.

 

Webster began his radio career in May 2016 - "Fresh Sounds Radio Show with Pastor Shaemun" on 100.1 FM in the Birmingham metro area featuring local and international Gospel artists. Also in 2016, Webster released a single, "Standing Under the Cloud," which has swept the nation ushering individuals into the presence of the Lord.

 

Webster has been awarded on several occasions for his superlative leadership skills that are birthed from the church and overflow into the business sector; he also has a great passion to equip and empower business and church leaders, lead workshops and seminars addressing communication, effective leadership and equipping ministries for 21st centuryministry! One of Pastor Webster's passions is to equip leaders and ministries for innovative and practical ministry via church development and consulting. In 2014, Webster launched and founded the School of Ministry Excellence (S.O.M.E.) for individuals who desire to groom their gifts and cultivate their calling. Pastor Webster was recognized by the citizens of Leeds, AL, January 20, 2014and was awarded – “Earnest E. Garner Leadership Award – for dedication, leadership, and commitment to the City of Leeds.” Webster was awarded 2013 Best In Birmingham Minority Business Award for the Faith BasedCategory and has been awarded The Leadership Award by the Jefferson County Commission, Birmingham, AL. Webster was also awarded a proclamation from the City of Leeds for his commendable dedication, labor, leadership andservice at The Tower of Prayer Church and in the metropolitan area. Lastly but not least, Pastor Webster is a member of The Potter's House of Dallas, TX.

 

Webster is the son of Carey L. and Kimberly Webster and the brother to K. Miaya Ree Webster.
